Absolutely not. Our program is built for complete beginners, and most students walk in with zero experience. Our instructors meet each child where they are and help them progress at their own pace.
We teach kids ages 7 to 12. Keeping the age range focused means the pace, the drills, and the group dynamic are all matched to where our students actually are, instead of stretching one class across every age.
Comfortable athletic clothing such as a t-shirt and sweatpants or shorts is all they need. No shoes are required on the mats. We'll provide everything else for their first session.
We recommend at least two classes per week for steady progress. Consistency matters more than intensity at this age, and students who show up regularly build skills and confidence noticeably faster.
Safety is our top priority. Our certified instructors maintain a structured, supervised environment with age-appropriate techniques. We focus on controlled practice in a clean, well-maintained facility to minimize any risk of injury.
